Refunds
How a refund works depends on where you paid - through the website (Stripe) or through the iOS App Store. They're handled differently, and by different companies.
Purchases made on the web
Subscriptions and top-ups bought on actoncue.com are processed by Stripe.
Because ActOnCue has a free tier that gives you full access to try the product before paying, purchases are considered final once processed. Top-ups in particular are one-off, non-renewable, and non-refundable.
Refunds may still be granted at our discretion if you haven't gone over the free tier's usage - for example, if you upgraded by mistake and haven't used any paid credit yet. To request one, use the contact form with the subject Cancellations & Refunds, and let us know what happened.
This is a summary - the full terms are in our Terms and Conditions.
Purchases made in the iOS app
If you subscribed or bought a top-up through the App Store on iPhone or iPad, that payment was processed by Apple, not by us. We don't have the ability to issue a refund for it directly - Apple controls those transactions.
To request a refund for an App Store purchase, go through Apple's own refund process:
Apple will review the request and decide independently of ActOnCue.
Cancelling instead of refunding
A refund and a cancellation are different things. If you just want to stop being charged going forward (rather than get money back for a past charge), see Cancel your subscription.

Reach out through the contact form and select Cancellations & Refunds as the subject - that routes your message straight to the right place.
