Customize your rehearsal

This is where you make the rehearsal process your own.

Click on Rehearse Mode to enter the rehearsal space.

Click the Settings icon to open the sidebar menu, where you can customize your rehearsal settings.

Start by selecting your character from the script.

If your character isn't the first to speak, you can set a countdown timer to prepare before your scene partner's line. This countdown can be adjusted up to 10 seconds before the first line.

If you're focusing on memorisation, turn on Line learning. Choose how much of the text you want to see: full lines, key words, or just letters. For example, showing three key words per line can help jog your memory while still challenging you. See Learn lines for more on line learning modes.

After selecting your character and setting the countdown, choose from over 30 voice partners to perform the other roles. Our diverse range includes various accents and unique voice qualities to bring your scene to life. Next, customize the script's style by adjusting the text size and deciding if you want the software to track your line progression by underlining words as you speak them.

Next, you can customize what appears in rehearse mode.

Choose to display elements like Heading, Action, Character, Dialogue, Parenthetical, and Transition, or opt to see just the dialogue. Simply select or deselect the parts of the script you want visible.
