Understanding voice types: Audio guided vs Text guided

When selecting AI voices for your characters, you'll notice that each voice is labeled as either "Audio guided" or "Text guided". These labels indicate how the voice generates speech and what customization options are available.

Audio guided voices

Audio guided voices use your own voice recordings as reference to generate speech. This approach provides the most accurate and personalized results, especially for complex emotional delivery or specific character traits.

How to use Audio guided voices

Text guided voices

Text guided voices analyze the text content and punctuation to generate natural-sounding speech. They're faster to set up and include built-in emotional awareness for common speech patterns.
