Web browser problems: common fixes

If something isn’t working as expected - buttons don’t respond, audio doesn’t play, or pages don’t load properly - it might be a browser issue. Here’s how to get back on track.

✅ Supported browsers

We support:

  • Google Chrome (and some Chrome-based browsers like Brave, Edge, Arc)
  • Safari

Other browsers may partly work, but aren’t tested during development and may have un-expected issues.


📱 Using mobile?

If you're experiencing trouble on a mobile browser, we recommend:

  • Trying the same action on Desktop
  • Letting us know about the mobile issue - we’re actively improving mobile support, and your feedback helps

Some features (like line learning, teleprompter, or long scripts) work best on desktop.


🔐 Microphone access denied?

If you're using voice recording or live reading features:

  • Make sure your browser has permission to access your mic
  • Check browser settings or system privacy settings

🚨 Still having trouble?

If the problem continues:

  • Try switching to a different supported browser (from Chrome to Safari or vice versa)
  • Try a different device
  • Reach out and tell us:
