This is a must have app if you're an actor when you need a reader or you just need to rehearse your lines. There are lots of settings you can use to set it up just the way you want it. There's a mobile version and also a web version and they both work great! This is my number one most useful app!

What is ActOnCue?
ActOnCue is a rehearsal app for actors. It reads the other parts in your script out loud, helps you learn your lines, and lets you record self tapes on your own.
Who is ActOnCue for?
Actors at every level: drama students, working actors with last-minute auditions, and anyone in a play who needs to get off-book. If you have a script and no one to read with, it's for you.
How does ActOnCue work?
Upload your script and pick your character. Choose a voice for each of the other parts, then press play. When you finish your line, the reader comes in with the next one.
Do I need a scene partner?
No. The reader plays every other character, so you can rehearse whenever you want without waiting on a friend or paying a reader.
Who created ActOnCue?
ActOnCue is designed for actors, by an actor.
How do I add my script?
Upload a PDF, take a photo of your sides, paste the text, or type it in. You can also transcribe a scene from an audio recording.
Can it help me memorize my lines?
Yes. Hide your lines behind first-letter hints, practice just your part, or let the reader leave a gap for you to fill out loud. Repeat until you're off-book.
Can I record a self tape with it?
Yes. The reader plays your scene partner while your phone or tablet records you, so you can tape an audition on your own with a single device.
Can I change how the reader sounds?
Yes. Pick a realistic voice for each character, or record the other parts yourself (or with a friend) for a fully human read. You can also set pauses and pacing.

Yes, and it's free to use in your browser with no account. It follows your voice and scrolls as you speak, so you never lose your place.

You can start for free. The free plan includes unlimited listening sessions, your own recordings, and 3 hours of interactive rehearsal. AI voices and extra rehearsal time are pay-as-you-go, through a subscription or a one-time top-up.
What devices does it work on?
There's an iOS app for iPhone and iPad, plus a web app that runs in any browser on laptops, tablets, and Android phones.
What languages does it support?
English is fully supported, with US, UK, Canadian, and Australian accents. Voices are also available in other languages, including French, Spanish, and Russian, and the teleprompter tracks 10+ languages.
Does it work for plays, film, and TV?
Yes. Use it for audition sides, full stage plays, film and TV scenes, and monologues.
Do I need an internet connection?
