What is the best way to memorize lines?
Learn them in context and out loud, not as a list of words. Mark your character, hide your lines, and run the scene while a reader cues you. Drop to first-letter prompts as your recall grows, and loop the hard parts. Active recall like this gets you off-book faster than re-reading the page.
How does the line learner work?
Upload your script, mark the character you're playing, and choose how much of your lines to hide. Then run the scene: the reader speaks the other parts and cues you, you say your line from memory, and reveal to check. Repeat until it sticks.
How is this different from flashcards or a generic memorizer?
Flashcards drill isolated words. A line learner teaches you your part inside the real dialogue, with the cues that tell you when to speak, so you build the recall you actually use on set or on stage.
Do I have to type my lines in?
No. Upload a PDF of your sides (even a messy scan) or paste the text, and the app splits and formats it into a clean script you can rehearse from.
Is this a line memorizer or a script memorizer?
Both. Use it to memorize a single monologue, a scene, or a whole script. It works as a line memorizer for actors and a script learner for longer material, hiding your lines and cueing you until you're off-book.
Can I memorize lines for a play?

How long does it take to get off-book?
It depends on the length and how often you rehearse, but active recall and cue-based practice are far faster than reading the page over and over. Most actors feel the difference within a session or two.
Can I adjust the pacing or loop the hard sections?
Yes. Tune the reader's pauses and speaking rate, and set loop points on tricky passages to repeat them until they're second nature. Your own lines run at whatever pace you set.
