What is a script rehearser?
A script rehearser is a tool that lets you run scenes on your own. It plays the other characters in the scene while you perform your part, listening for your cues and responding naturally.
How do I rehearse a scene online?
Upload your script as a PDF or paste it in. Pick which character you're playing, choose voices for the other characters, and press play. The reader will run the scene with you.
Do I need another actor to rehearse with?
No. The reader handles all other characters in the scene. You can rehearse any time, on your own schedule.
How does cue recognition work?
The reader listens as you speak. When you say the last word of your line (the cue), it responds with the next character's line automatically.
Can I rehearse a scene with more than two characters?
Yes. Scenes with multiple characters work out of the box. Each character gets their own voice.
